Sixth Governing Board Meeting (6th GBM)

News:

  According to the agreed minutes of the 5^th RCUWM Governing Board meeting held in Tehran, Iran, 24 November 2007, the 6^th RCUWM Governing Board Meeting will be held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, 2 November 2008.

  RCUWM GB members include 13 countries as well as 7 International Organizations. According to the agreement signed between I.R. Iran and UNESCO the Governing Board meets in ordinary session once a year to investigate the performance report of the Centre to be presented by the Director.

  In addition, the budget of 2008 along with the Work Plan and Budget for 2009 will be presented and approved during this annual meeting. Finally, the members’ contribution towards the activities of the Centre will be discussed and new commitments will be defined for the member states and organizations according to the Centre’s work plan and upon receiving their suggestions.
